Job Summary
The Consumer Innovation Center Executive supports the Category Manager in executing category-specific innovation initiatives within the Consumer Innovation Center (CIC). This role focuses on operational and logistical aspects of product development, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and timely delivery of project milestones. The Category Specialist plays a critical role in transforming insights into actionable development plans, overseeing in-store testing logistics, and tracking the operational success of category projects.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support for Information Gathering and Market Research
Assist in compiling and organizing market data from industry reports, surveys, and competitive analysis.
Track competitor activity and pricing strategies to provide actionable data for the Category Manager.
Support research logistics, including coordinating attendance at industry events and managing documentation.
2. Consumer Interaction and Feedback Logistics
Coordinate in-store recruitment and focus groups for consumer research activities.
Oversee logistics for product sampling and testing sessions, ensuring smooth execution.
Assist in collecting and documenting consumer feedback during testing phases.
3. Operational Support for Product Development
Collaborate with the Category Manager, R&D, and Consumer Technical Insights teams to implement product concepts.
Maintain detailed records of product specifications, prototypes, and testing outcomes.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met, escalating risks or delays as needed.
4. Project Coordination
Track project milestones and KPIs, ensuring alignment with CIC objectives.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
Monitor and report progress of product development activities to stakeholders.
5. Data Management and Reporting
Organize and maintain data from in-field research, consumer feedback, and prototype testing.
Prepare reports on product testing outcomes, highlighting key learnings for further refinement
