About the job

Main Purpose:

• The Head of eCommerce is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, optimizing the customer experience, and keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies through the e-commerce channel.
• They work closely with various teams such as marketing, product management, technology, and operations to ensure the seamless functioning of the e-commerce platform and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an eCommerce strategy from scratch.
• Manage new and existing e-commerce platforms, engaging with technology stakeholders on e-commerce development with the aim of generating new sales.
• Monitor and analyze the overall e-commerce sales performance, site performance, conversion rates, and traffic.
• Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects.
• Build and direct a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop eCommerce solutions.
• Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects.
• Experience with B2C or B2B eCommerce, depending on your focus extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience related, prefer in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience developing or scaling businesses through eCommerce channels.
• Experience at a senior level eCommerce position, with comfort of hands on execution.
• The ability to work in a cross functional structure, bringing together cross functional groups of people to achieve results.
• Skills in planning and organizing implementation.
• Team management and training skills.
