Job Summary
Microbiology Manager is responsible for identifying, building and maintaining micro/biotechnology capabilities in R&D to deliver microbiology/biotechnology-related solutions and their applications to company products.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure the microbiological stability of new formulations using risk assessment tools such as challenge testing or food stability modeling.
Work with Spec/System team on microbial components in raw material specifications to final product
Design R&D processes directly related to microbiology in products, plan regular training for R&D staff on food safety and basic microbiology
Consulting on microbiological safety in technology transfer and participating when there is high microbiological risk
Design, verify and approve standard cleaning methods for Masan's factories. Issue them in the form of Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Hygiene Supervision Standards. Training courses are available upon request.
Work closely with QA on relevant food safety programs or projects. Inspect new suppliers, processing lines or factories for food safety/micro-safety aspects.
Lead micro/biotechnology research programs/projects which are specified by the Board of Directors
Manage the laboratory, maintain and improve the company's microbiology research processes, maintain and develop relationships with strategic research partners at home and abroad
