Job Summary

The Legal Manager of the Export Division oversees all legal matters related to the company's international trade operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations, managing export contracts and disputes, developing policies and procedures, and providing strategic legal guidance to support the organization's global expansion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and ensure proper implementation of regulations (Vietnam and export countries) related to food safety, trademarks, product labeling information, licenses (certificates, etc.), and import/export contracts.
  • Proactively conduct reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with export-related activities of the company.
  • Provide legal counsel, represent and participate in litigation, and resolve legal disputes related to export issues (if any).
  • Research, update and systematize relevant legal documents related to export activities.
  • Establish relationships with relevant associations/government management agencies in the field.
  • Proactively propose innovative solutions to serve the company's compliance monitoring and evaluation activities related to export operations.

Other Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in international trade law, with a strong focus on export compliance.- Thorough understanding of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and commercial contracts.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating complex trade disputes and litigation.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a legal team.
