Job Summary

CIC Specialist supports the Category Manager in executing category-specific innovation initiatives within the Consumer Innovation Center (CIC). This role focuses on operational and logistical aspects of product development, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and timely delivery of project milestones. CIC Specialist plays a critical role in transforming insights into actionable development plans, overseeing in-store testing logistics, and tracking the operational success of category projects.

Job Responsibilities

1. Support Consumer Research Execution

- Assist in preparing and organizing qualitative and quantitative tests, including product benchmarks, usage tests, and concept evaluations.

- Coordinate test logistics in collaboration with recruiters and other team members.

2. Consumer Insight Collection:

- Help gather consumer feedback during test sessions (online and in person).

- Document key observations and ensure that data is properly recorded.

3. Data Management & Analysis:

- Support in compiling results from various sources (surveys, feedback forms, etc.).

- Assist Category Manager in analyzing findings and identifying key insights.

4. Internal Coordination:

- Work closely with CIC Consumer Recruiters to align recruitment needs with project targets.

- Maintain up-to-date project files, dashboards, and test calendars.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with R&D, Brand, Sensory, and other functions to ensure sample readiness, testing alignment, and timely delivery.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

Help prepare internal reports, presentations, and summary documents for ongoing and completed projects.

7. Support Category Manager:

- Provide hands-on support to the Category Manager in tracking project progress and ensuring key deliverables are met.

- Contribute ideas during project planning and post-test reviews.

8. Process Improvement:

Identify bottlenecks or improvement areas in test execution and suggest enhancements to optimize workflows.
